Bohemian style is so fun and personal - you can bring facets of your life’s experiences into your design. If you are someone that likes to display different items that you’ve collected from your travels around the world and throughout life in general- this design style is for you. From works of art, to carved bowls to woven blankets, you can let your life’s traveling experiences tell a story in your home. Incorporating pieces that have been made by people of the culture, place or location is so important. Cultural appropriation is real and has stolen from many cultural groups around the world. Make sure that if you are displaying items depicting a specific culture that it is sourced ethically. In addition, learning about this culture and the meaning behind the item is a great way of educating yourself on the practices and traditions of this area in the world.
